Weird weather at the moment - still sunny at 7.30pm and after the stunning weather at the weekend it can’t make up its mind if it is full sun or cloud but I’ll take that over rain! Louise will be taking a complimentary “Body Flow” class at 11am on Tuesday 2nd and 9th April, 28th May and then every Tuesday throughout summer school hols. I have a class with her every week and hope eventually to look like this picture…if I had less of the chocolate treats it might happen one day! Today is Andrew’s birthday and we enjoyed the Heritage experience with @landroverexperiencewestcountry. Thanks to the brilliant instructor Dave Parr for calmly talking us through it - he even got me reversing up a hill so steep I had to dodge the mountain goats! 🐐 We were able to relax @the_pig_hotels at Combe and had their delicious 25 mile menu; such fantastic staff really made it special. Eulogy to a farm cat 💔 Today we said goodbye to Kitcat; born in our barn to a “stray” mother who soon left but he chose to stay. When we opened Brownscombe in 2015, Kitcat started hanging around reception and the car park so that he could say hello to as many guests as possible and some of the children would spend hours of their holiday stroking him and the braver ones would even carry him around like a doll. He was an outdoor cat but I would hear that he would adopt some families and stay in their tent for the evening. He was not above visiting post BBQ searching for titbits. In the last few weeks he moved into the house as he was poorly and was hand fed chicken and snuggled up to the dogs. I cried like a baby when we had to let him go but what a life he had…fighting off a badger, outwitting foxes and getting and giving so much love and affection. I always thought I was a dog person but I just hadn’t met the right cat. He will be missed x #farmcat #gingercat
