PRIVATE DINING AT THE LODGE – Open 1st April to 2nd October

At Brownscombe we can offer private dining onsite in our Lodge; get the whole Lodge to yourself with candles lit, the fire roaring, speakers to link up to and the table laid with fresh flowers.

  • All dishes can be prepared for a minimum of 2 people
  • Perfect for a romantic dinner for two or groups of up to 14 to dine
  • You are welcome to bring dogs and babies and a high chair is available
  • children with smaller appetites can share a portion
  • We will take care of all the set up and clearing up

MENU

HOT ROCKS COOKING – Cheese for you to melt on the raclette grill at your table, gherkins, potatoes served with a green salad

Please note that prices have gone up in 2025 as the cost of steak from our butcher has almost doubled in price. We try to use the best ingredients but they tend to cost more!

  • with locally sourced sirloin steak for you to cook on a hot stone (£25 / head)
  • with with locally sourced chicken for you to cook on a hot stone (£22 / head)
  • with cold meats of salami and Parma ham (£22 / head)
  • vegetarian with halloumi, courgette, peppers and mushrooms (£22 / head)

FONDUE 

  • cheese fondue with locally sourced chicken to cook on hot-stone, bread to dip and green salad £25 / head
  • cheese fondue with vegetables and bread to dip and green salad £22 / head

PUDDING

CHOCOLATE BROWNIES (2) with cream £10 / 2 people or £15 for a family of 2 adults 2 children

GLAMPING MESS strawberries, creme fraiche and meringue £12 / 2 people or £18 for a family of 2 adults 2 children with added blueberries

CHOCOLATE FONDUE  with marshmallows, seasonal fruit to dip (strawberries, raspberries, grapes and blueberries) to dip £15 / 2 people or £20 for a family of 2 adults 2 children
