How has your week been? Long?! Can’t wait for blue skies again without the chill 🥶! We were super busy in the office with 28 bookings (which I think is a weekly record)…a lovely mix of families in the school holidays, 3 Group celebrations and some returning couples booking romantic breaks in our Cabins. We are now full in the Easter holidays for midweeks in our Tents but still have a couple of tents free for the weekends and good availability in the Cabins. Have a lovely weekend. #somethingtolookforwardto❤️ #devonglamping #luxuryglamping

Planning a group getaway this year with a festival

Planning a group getaway this year with a festival feel? We can accommodate 12-16 adults in our Safari Tents and we can cook for you all weekend eating together in our barn, with a pizza and prosecco night on the Saturday evening. Party afterwards in the soundproof Lodge and soothe away a sore head with some yoga in the field, aqua aerobics in our pool* and Farmer’s rounds to stroke our piglets and sheep, which is all included in the price. We are 15 minutes from the sea for SUP or coasteering or close to the Dart river secret swimming spot. We have limited weekends left; 25th April, 9th May and then nothing until September. Spring is just around the corner and whichever of our Cabins or Tents you stay in, you are welcome to join us on our morning farmer’s rounds to feed the piglets and sheep plus collect the chicken and duck eggs - although it is very popular with children, adults are welcome too, or send the kids and have a peaceful dip in the hot tub with a book! As the sun sets on our Summer season I would like to thank all the guests old and new that visited us. The children kept me smiling on farmers rounds and we have had many memorable pizza nights. If you have stayed at Brownscombe you will know how much we strive to make sure that you have a wonderful holiday, but the one thing I can’t control is the weather! Last year we closed the Safari Tents in September, as I was worried about the unpredictable winds and temperature in October. In the past we have had some glorious half terms when it has been mild, dry and very halloweeny! So this year I have just opened up our Tent bookings for October but if you don’t fancy the weather with a week to go before your booking, or we think it is too cold or wet for you; we will give you a 100% no quibble refund for your holiday.
