We have tried to anticipate the basics as well as some of the luxuries for your holiday. The Larder booking form can be used to book your first nights meal or breakfast for the following morning, there will be forms in your tent or Tabernacle if you decide to use the larder during your stay. This is what you will find in your safari tent or Tabernacle:


Seasoned wood, firelighters and kindling.


Tea towels and oven glove, foil, cling film and kitchen roll, bin bags and washing up liquid.

Pots & pans, utensils, knives, crockery, cutlery, glasses, salt & pepper pots, whistling kettle that works on your stove or the induction hob. Torch, tea lights and holder, games and playing cards.


In each bedroom you will find a bed made up with duvet covers, a 13 tog hypoallergenic duvet, a bedside light (with the exception of the cabin beds which is a battery operated lantern) and yuyu hot water bottles.

Babies & Toddlers

There is a travel cot and high chair available in each safari tent as well as a toddler gate fixed to the outside of the deck. There is also a microwave available in the Brownscombe Larder, if you need to sterilise bottles or quickly defrost some food.


We provide two loo rolls, hand towel, liquid soap and hand cream made in Cornwall


There is a bath mat, bath sheets, shampoo, conditioner and paraban free soap, cotton wool and cotton buds.

Welcome Pack

We provide cooking oil, espresso ground coffee beans to go in your stove coffee maker, tea bags, sugar and a pint of milk (our Riverford milkman is available on 01803 8124032 to order milk and veg boxes for the rest of your stay) and there will be ice cubes in the ice compartment of your fridge.

Lighting and plugs

The loo and shower have normal electric lights in the ceiling, the bedrooms have bedside lights and in the kitchen there is a spot light to make cooking easier.

In the dining area there are tea light holders and in the sitting area there is a spotlight, outside there are solar lights on the path.

In Bovey and Tamar we provide a hose pipe outside with some old towels and a food and water bowl. We also provide a snuggly mat for them to relax on, although you may choose to bring their own bed. Each dog (up to 2 per tent) incurs a supplement of £25
