Could this be the most romantic spot in Devon? It’s pretty special that’s for sure.

Brownscombe is the perfect place for a romantic retreat. Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, surprising a loved one on their birthday, or want somewhere to hide away for a secret honeymoon, we’ve got everything you need to be able to retreat from the world and lose yourselves in each other.

Watch the sun set while sipping bubbly in the hot tub, or lie back in comfy garden chairs with a fire crackling in the barbecue fire pit and gaze at stars so bright they’ll take your breath away…

A weekend full of sunshine, love and stars! The hot tub was amazing and toasty when we arrived, with a bottle of prosecco chilling.

The Tabernacle is perfect for special occasions

A tiny chapel for two

Our sweet tin Tabernacle is tucked into a dip in the side of the hill, totally secluded in its own meadow. It’s utterly endearing with its stained glass window and tiny bell tower. Cosy up with a hot chocolate in the rocking chair by the stove, or relax outside with a glass of bubbly in your own private hot tub.

The quaint Tabernacle tucked away on its own was very peaceful. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and to lay in bed looking out was so peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub with the stars out is lovely. Last morning we watched a fox come out to play made the ending perfect…
